Lesson 4: Fighting from the Ground

If you have been knocked to the ground you will have to fight form your back.  In this micro lesson we review fighting against a standing attackerCoaching Points

  • Ground Conflict position – chin to chest, legs between you and the attacker
  • As the attacker approaches stamp hard to the upper shin/knee area with the sole of the foot
  • If the attacker tries to move to the side rotate keeping the feet between you at all times
  • Use verbal skills from the ground “Stop” “stop attacking me” create as much noise as possible.
