Lesson 1: Conflict stance
This 30 second micro lesson shows the basic Krav Maga outlet stance. We call this a conflict stance.
Coaching points
- 1 natural step forwards
- Feet shoulders width apart and rotated to 45 degrees
- Build a box with the arms – elbows low – hands high – little finger outwards
- Weight in 50/50 with both knees bent
- Note – this should be a relaxed ‘athletic position – not a deep martial arts stance.
Note: The video was shot from a low mounted camera. This makes the hands appear unusually high. Remember – hands = chin height
